The following are some links to sites which propose creation theories that are at odds with the theory supported by science. It must be noted that these theories are not "competing" with the theory of evolution within the realm of science itself (at least not yet). For any of these theories to seriously challenge evolution as an objective account of the course of life on earth, they must be supported by empirical evidence. Be critical of ideas that claim to be supported by empirical evidence but are based on sparse or weak evidence.

• Genesis - Taken from the Torah/Bible, this is the account of creation believed by some Jews, Christians and Muslims. Some take it quite literally while others see it as metaphor. Many have reconciled a metaphorical belief in Genesis as being perfectly consistent with the pattern of evolution revealed by science. (See Finding Darwin's God, by Kenneth Miller.)
